In collaboration with the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), starting with the opening of the Kovilpatti school in 1999, we have been relocating to areas based on the severity of child labor, and currently, about 60 children are studying in Guntur district.

Background India is said to be one of the countries where child labor is most severe. Under such circumstances, many children are forced to do dangerous labor such as working in gunpowder and crushed stone factories.

Voice of a Graduate

Until I came to this school, I was working at a road construction site. I love school, and my favorites are Telugu class and lunch. I want to be a school teacher in the future.
