In our supply of various services, the Japan International Labour Foundation (JILAF) acquires personal information from users. JILAF obeys pertinent laws and ordinances relating to personal information and ensures the appropriate handling of such information.
JILAF acquires personal information properly without recourse to fabrication and other illegal means.
(1) To facilitate work liaison, coordination, administrative processing, etc. pursuant to organization management.
(2) To reply to various inquiries.
JILAF takes necessary and appropriate steps to prevent the leakage, loss, and damage of personal information and to otherwise ensure the secure management of personal information.
When JILAF consigns all or part of handled personal information to a third party, we conduct a rigorous investigation of that third party and carry out necessary and appropriate surveillance of that third party so as to ensure the secure management of consigned personal information.
Excluding cases stipulated by laws and ordinances, such as the Personal Information Protection Act, JILAF does not provide personal information to a third party without the prior consent of the person concerned.
If a person requests the disclosure of his/her personal information, JILAF will disclose the information promptly. At such times, however, JILAF will not disclose any personal information unless the person can provide proper identification.
If there is an error in the personal information and a request for correction, addition, or deletion is received from the person concerned, JILAF will respond to the request promptly after investigation. At such times, however, JILAF will not respond to the request unless the person can provide proper identification.
