Developing "Constructive Industrial Relations"
The global labor environment is undergoing significant changes due to the progress of globalization and constant technological innovation. As working styles diversify and industrial relations become more complex, labor disputes occur frequently in many countries, leading to deterioration of employment and an increase in precarious work.
JILAF conducts "Labour Related Development" rooted in local contexts, based on human security, through an approach of "constructive industrial relations" that includes compliance with ILO core labor standards and labor-management consultation and collective bargaining for improving the workplace environment.

Building Constructive Industrial Relations
Specifically, we support labor movements in various countries, mainly in Asia, by implementing "Invitation Programs" where participants come to Japan to deepen their understanding of Japanese industrial relations, practices, and labor legislation, as well as "Industrial Relations Seminars" where Japanese labor experts are dispatched locally to aim for the construction of constructive industrial relations.
