The Japan International Labour Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation") is an organization that promotes international exchange and cooperation in the field of labor, with the aim of "contributing to the development of free and democratic labor movements and sound social and economic development in developing countries." The personal information acquired by the Foundation will be used in accordance with this purpose. Based on the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information," the Foundation respects and complies with applicable laws and the spirit regarding personal information, handles personal information appropriately and safely, and strives to protect personal information.

The Foundation clarifies the purpose of use of personal information and handles
information provided voluntarily by the individual.
In addition, when conducting access analysis, individuals will not be identified, and it
will be possible for the individual to stop the handling of their data at their own
will.

Google (analysis of website visitor information). This system uses a mechanism called
"Cookies" to collect and accumulate information on the usage status of communication
lines subject to analysis.

2. Purpose of Use and Protection
Personal information handled by the Foundation will be used only within the scope of its
purpose of use.
Furthermore, the Foundation will not provide personal information to third parties,
except when outsourcing business to achieve the purpose of use, when based on provisions
of laws and regulations, or when necessary for the protection of human life, body, or
property.
3. Management System
1. All personal information will be managed appropriately to prevent loss, destruction,
falsification, and leakage due to unauthorized access, theft, removal, etc., and
necessary preventive and corrective measures will be taken.
2. When outsourcing business within the scope of the purpose of use based on personal
information, the Foundation will conclude a contract regarding the handling of personal
information with the contractor and will manage and supervise to ensure appropriate
management.
3. Inquiries regarding the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc., of personal
information by the individual will be accepted at any time and responded to
appropriately.
4. In addition, a contact point for accepting complaints regarding the handling of
personal information will be established, and if a complaint is received, it will be
dealt with appropriately and promptly.
4. Maintenance and Continuity of Efforts for Compliance
1. The Foundation will strive to operate its business in accordance with laws and other
regulations regarding the protection of personal information.
2. Policies and systems for protecting personal information held by the Foundation will
be continuously reviewed and improved in response to changes in the Foundation's
business content and changes in laws, social environment, and IT environment surrounding
the business.
