Labour - management relations and productivity seminar("PROGRESS")
Amid economic and social development, trade unions also are required to build constructive labour-management relations through the promotion of collective bargaining and
labour-management consultations and to strengthen their functions and display their role
for a fair distribution of the results of productivity improvement.
Local seminars take the form of a participatory-type package program comprising the following four steps: (1) the basics of trade unions and the strengthening of organization; (2) labour standards and constructive labour-management relations; (3) the theory and practice of the productivity movement in the workplace; and (4) effective collective bargaining and labour-management dialogue.
After acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills through the program, participants become active as trainers and disseminate their experience in the workplace.
