In addition, JILAF established in fiscal 1996 the "JILAF
Training program for young trade union leaders" with the aim of fostering
international-minded Japanese young trade union leaders who can play an active
part in the international labor movement. Through this one-year course, which
includes practical training on field projects as well as English-language training
and labour-related lectures, participants gain basic knowledge and experience
required for the international labour movement.
After completion of this couse,almost all of the members are active in global
trade union movement. |
