Following a strong request from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL), the grooming of trainers was started in 2004, and an implementation setup was established, mainly in key cities in the south and north of Vietnam. Emphasis is placed especially on the planned grooming of trainers. The development of teaching materials is also proceeding smoothly, and in light of achievements so far, nationwide development is expected. The project as a whole is being advanced in a planned manner. From now on the experience of Vietnam can be expected to serve as a model for other countries where the POSITIVE programme is newly introduced.
